The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical featuring a trove of cherished songs, including” Climb Every Mountain”, My Favorite Things”, “Do Re Mi”, Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, and the title number, “The Sound of Music”. The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain Von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire Von Trapp family must make a moral decision.

September 29, 2022 – Grease the Musical
Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger palace Boys and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking 11Pink Ladies” in bobby socks and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dombrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as: “Greased lightning”, It’s Raining on Prom Night”, Alone at the Drive-In Movie” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.
