QUILT OF VALOR:
When you travel with D&S Travel Tours you can help us to make a tribute to one of our much-deserving Veterans. Through the Make A Quilt of Valor Foundation D&S Travel donates 5% of the gross profits of each successful voyage we travel on. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quits of Valor. For more information go to www.qovf.org. When you see a tour, you should make your reservations as soon as possible. Many tours fill up very fast and we can only accommodate so many travelers for each tour. We recommend booking trips as soon as possible.
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION:
Call our office at 704-864-0348. If you get our answering system please leave a message with your name and phone number, which tour you are interested in and we will call you back as soon as possible.
SECURING YOUR RESERVATION:
Mail your deposits with your name, address, phone number and which tour you are interested in and make checks payable to D&S Travel Tours and mail your payments to PO Box 2375, Gastonia, NC 28053. You can also make reservations by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our web site at www.dstraveltours.com. Tour deposits are required within (7) days of making a reservation and deposit amounts vary from trip to trip. See tour information page for deposits and final payments. If a deposit is not received within (7) days your seat will be cancelled.
Our cancelation and refund policy varies from tour to tour. Please refer to the tour information page for specific refund information.
ALL TOURS INCLUDE:
Transportation by late model, wide body motor coaches equipped with restrooms, reclining seats, air conditioning, video entertainment systems. Accommodations at first class hotels, and all sightseeing tours and admissions as listed in the itinerary of each tour.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:
• Gratuities for any step on guides.
• Meals except for the ones listed in each tour itinerary. Personal expenses such as a room or valet service and any other items of a personal nature.

D&S Travel Tours does not assume any responsibility for loss of damaged luggage or any personal property. We are not responsible for any items you may leave on a motor coach. We are also not responsible for any injuries, expenses, or damage incurred or claimed by a tour member.
MOTOR COACH SEATING:
Seats are not assigned and are on a first come-first serve basis. Seats are not reserved for tour members. Seats behind the driver are reserved for the tour director and/or tour guide. We do have stops for restroom breaks and a time to stretch and relax. Seat rotation is not a mandatory policy with D&S Travel Tours.
CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY:
D&S Travel Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour due to conditions beyond our control, including insufficient participation. In the event a tour is cancelled we will make every effort to issue a full refund to every tour member. In the event that an attraction or some event listed in the itinerary needs to be changed due to reasons beyond our control we will make every effort to substitute the attraction or event with something similar or comparable. If weather or some unlikely event extends a tour we will arrange lodging but the expense will be the responsibility of the passenger.
FINAL TOUR INFORMATION:
Seven to ten days before departure of a tour you will receive your final tour information. At this time you will be given departure location and the time of departure, baggage tags, name of you hotel with contact information and if there are any changes in the itinerary.
Your health an physical condition is very important when being part of a motor coach tour. D&S Travel Tours cannot provide individual assistance to travelers requiring help with walking, dining or nay other needs they may encounter. We do ask that travelers with special needs be accompanied by another person that can assume responsibility for that traveler.
RETURNING HOME DURING A TOUR:
In the event a traveler has to leave a trip early for an emergency or any other reason the financial responsibility of the person getting back home falls back on them.
