1620 – 2020 – An American Story-A National Legacy

 

Day One   This morning we have an early departure headed north to Baltimore, Maryland.

This afternoon we visit Fort McHenry National Monument.  This place has been known to be the inspiration for Frances Scott Key’s Poem Star-Spangles Banner.  You will be amazed by the depth of history and beauty that surrounds the place.  The experience of watching the flag being changed by the Rangers will give you Goose Bumps.  We overnight in the Baltimore area.

 

Day Two   After breakfast at the hotel (included) we board our coach headed to Plymouth, MA.  On arrival we check into our hotel for a (3) night stay.  We have an included dinner tonight along the waterfront.

 

Day Three   Breakfast is included at the hotel and we then pick up our tour guide for a guided tour of this historical city.  On our tour, we will visit the Jenny House, National Monument to the Fore Fathers, the Plimoth Grist Mill, Plymouth Rock, step aboard the Mayflower II and the Plimoth Plantation where you will travel back 400 years to the 17th Century New England.  The Plantation will host us a themed dining experience included in our tour.  We return to our hotel after a full day of touring.

 

Day Four   Enjoy your breakfast (included) at the hotel and we are off for a full day of touring in beautiful Boston.  Arriving in the city, we will do a motor coach and walking tour of this incredible city.  We will see all the historic parts of the city, the Old North Church, Bunker Hill, Paul Revere, will board Old Ironside and we will visit the John Kennedy Presidential Library.  Dinner is included tonight before we return to Plymouth.

 

Day Five:  Breakfast at the hotel (included) and we must load up to begin our journey home.  On our way home we stop in Hartford, Connecticut to visit the Mark Twain House.  If you have seen Castles of America, you will know about this beautiful home.  Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn and many other classics were written there while Samuel Clemmons lived there.  We will have dinner tonight (included) to celebrate what a great tour we have had.  We overnight in Delaware.

 

Day Six:  Breakfast at the hotel is included and then we must head for home.  You will have some surprise stops along the way.  We will return home late evening.
